Вера смотрела в сторону огромных но уже практически нагих тополей высаженных вдоль едва различимой под снегом дороги. Снег постепенно укрывал их размашистые ветви, придавая их образу сказочность. Вера вспомнила как была здесь несколько лет назад летом; как кормила лошадь яблоками и смеялась над неуклюжестью своего случайного спутника. Как попав под ливень они прятались под небольшим навесом колодца и все равно намокли. Вспомнила как уезжала, как усталый состав медленно набирая ход уносил ее прочь отсюда. Вспомнила сладкий запах теплой булки, которую она купила на харьковском вокзале в шесть утра. Как проносился за окном трамвая утренний город.
 -Вера, пойдем. У нас не так много времени - прервал ее раздумья Дима, поправляя свой коричнево-оранжевый шарф с оленями
